Hand made in a small shop in Piedmont, Italy, the Corsa Pista is a track frame that can also be set up as a fixed-gear bike for road use. The rear brake bridge is drilled for mounting a short-reach brake.
The Torelli Corsa Pista is built from Deda double-butted steel. The top tube and down tube are drawn down to 0.5mm wall thickness, stiff enough for a quick sprint on the track, yet resilient enough for the road.
Every frame size is built to a unique geometry, because a six foot man is not a scaled-up version of a man five feet five inches tall. While both have roughly the same size torso, the bigger man has much longer arms and legs. Torelli design accommodates this fact. As the frame gets larger, the seat tube gets slacker and the top tube gets longer. We can't stress enough that this bike rides far, far better than either its price or its materials would lead one to believe.
The seat stays are brazed directly to the seat lug for lighter weight.
One of the benefits of buying a Torelli frame is the variety of custom finishes available. The Corsa Pista is imported unpainted. We offer 11 colors of our "American Paint" any of which is included as a single color in the price of the frame. Or, you may choose any other Imron color or utilize multiple colors or have custom painted panels (pictured above) or faded color transitions. We also have a custom chrome shop to put that sparkling, brilliant touch to your frame. We love to do custom finish work and want your Corsa Pista to be just the way you want it.
